Leather couches and furniture in a home are a large investment and like any investment its a good idea to protect it. Starting up a leather protection and cleaning business could be done full or part time and is a relatively low cost startup. This is also a business that will not have a ton of competition as would be the case with an idea such as landscaping. Customer knowledge campaigns and advertising would help to develop a customer base for this business idea. Possible expansions of this idea include carpet cleaning, leather repair and non-leather furniture cleaning as well. New eco-friendly products can put this idea ahead of the competition when looking for jobs.
